Shelter Island NY – Sarah + Stephen – 7.15.2017 – Sylvester Manor – East End Wedding
Sarah and Stephen were married on July 15th, 2017 on Shelter Island. Both took time out from serving our country in the Coast Guard to tie the knot. Sarah, having spent all of her summers on Shelter Island, made the easy choice to be married there.
Much like myself and my family, her and her family love and help out as much as they can at SylvesterManor. When deciding a location for the wedding, it was an easy choice to hold the celebration there. All festivities were held at the Manor – the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Lombardi’s of Love Lane catered the party with some of the most delicious food that you can find on the eastern end of Long Island.
Sylvester Manor is a historic manor on Shelter Island in Suffolk County, New York. The land, spanning 8,000 acres was acquired by English-born colonist Nathaniel Sylvester in the 17th century. Every once in a while the Manor has a wedding on the property, and I was very lucky to get a chance to shoot this beautiful event. To me, the Manor is pure magic; it’s easily the most beautiful location on Shelter Island.
The wedding was a beautiful success. The party was a ton of fun, the location was stunning, the food was outstanding and the couple was just lovely. Congratulations to Sarah and Stephen!
